    Remembering you, in all the crazy

    One of my favourite spaces is my meditation corner in my home. And today, for the first time in what feels like a long time, I used it. I reeeeeeeally needed to. Lately it feels like I’ve been constantly adapting, moving and jumping through hoops. Desperately trying to claw back with both hands some semblance of a ‘normal’ life for me and my family.  The kids are back at school. Shops are open. We can book holidays.     Do I need to be flexible?

    So…. I was having a chat with someone the other day and they said that they were worried about their up and coming one to one Pilates session with me because they hadn’t done Pilates before and they “weren’t that flexible”. This is actually, I find, quite a common misconception with Pilates. And I totally get it! You see all these pictures of people in all kinds of fantastic ‘pose’ positions.
