I became a Pilates instructor about 7 years ago. I had regularly attended group classes for years and loved the method and what it gave me and my body. It was after the birth of my first child that I fancied a career change and chose to be an instructor. I trained with a recognised body, worked my little socks off, qualified and set up my own business.
Soon afterwards I decided to train as a Sports massage therapist. It felt like a natural progression to me; Pilates and massage are very intertwined in terms of health management. I am fascinated by anatomy and physiology, health and well-being and together, they both just work for me. Again, I completed extensive training and eventually set up my own massage clinic.
I’m fortunate enough to work from home in my own purpose-built studio/clinic in Eversley and I’m also active in the local community. I teach Pilates classes at the local village hall, and and I also teach and massage at local wellness events and businesses.
I adore training so that’s continued over the years; I’m now a level 4 qualified Sports massage therapist and I remain fascinated by and very passionate about what I do 🙂
